ROCKIN’ CHRISTMAS with ‘Pretty for the People’

Join ‘Pretty for the People’ & Guests for an all-ages musical evening of Christmas tunes.

‘Pretty for the People’ is a fistful of 5 talented friends who have quickly ramped up to the top of the music scene in the East Kootenays. Sarah, Graham, Janice, Mark and Ward bring years of rock wisdom to their shows. For this show, the band has focused on producing inspiring interpretations of traditional carols and Christmas hits from the 1980s to now, with unique mashups and rearrangements spanning metal to pop to jazz.

Our lead guitarist, Graham Barnes, brings decades of experience in rock and jazz to the table. His mastery of the guitar is evident in every note he plays. Janice, our bassist and vocalist, has been involved in music from a young age and has honed her skills in jazz, country, and rock. She adds a unique flavor to our music with her talented support vocals. Mark Rosini is a true multi-instrumentalist, bringing his years of experience in a variety of music to our band. He dazzles us with his guitar and keyboard skills and adds a touch of soul with his harmonica. Ward Morton, our drummer and vocalist, is a master of all genres and all drum styles and percussion. His beats are the backbone of our sound. Last but not least, Sarah, our talented lead vocalist, started singing in the church scene as a teen and has since enchanted audiences with her angelic voice and amazing range. Together, our band members create a sound that is unique, powerful, and unforgettable.

Joining us for the Trail performance are guest vocalists, Matt VanBoyen and Drew Prinn; guest keys/vocals, Tyrel Hawke; second drummer, Ethan Swatsky; AND “Three Strings to the Wind” quartet. “Three Strings to the Wind” are Stephanie Tichauer-Flute, Sara Topping-Violin, Kerri Holmes- Viola & Dan Gibb-Cello. We can’t wait for you to experience our music!

Two hour show with 15 minute intermission.Tickets purchased on-line or by phone can be picked up at the box office on show day between 6:30 – 7:30 pm or at the Bailey Theatre Box Office Monday – Friday between 12 – 4 pm.
