Based on the true story of the Williams family and the father that helped make them tennis superstars. “King Richard” follows the journey of Richard Williams, an undeterred father instrumental in raising two of the most extraordinarily gifted athletes of all time, Venus and Serena Williams. Driven by a clear vision of their future, and using unconventional methods, Richard has a plan that will take Venus and Serena Williams from the streets of Compton, California to the global stage as legendary icons. As they grow up, he stops at nothing to get them to the top, despite all odds being against him. The profoundly moving film that follows the girls into their teens, shows the power of family, perseverance, and unwavering belief to achieve the impossible and change the sport of tennis forever.

Tickets can be purchase through The Bailey Box Office at tickets.trail-arts.com or by calling or visiting our box office during regular box office hours Mon-Fri from 12-4 pm. On-line ticket sales end one hour before show time. If the show is not sold out, tickets will be available at the door at The Royal Theatre 30 minutes before show time.
