The Trail & District Arts Council presents Casting Off by Australian intergenerational circus group A Good Catch on Friday, November 3 at 7:30 pm in The Bailey Theatre.
Casting Off does just that, throwing away stereotypes as these dynamic Australian women tumble, talk, and balance precariously. This joyful, witty and poignant circus show is a refreshing and uplifting conversation between three generations. A Good Catch circus group makes arthouse circus as they experiment with circus structures with a feminist tone and a proactive attitude. Their show Casting Off has toured the festival circuit and has won three fringe awards including The BankSA Best Circus & Physical Theatre Award in Adelaide 2019, The Total Theatre & Jacksons Lane Award for Best Circus at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018, and Best Circus at Melbourne Fringe 2018.
