INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Rex The Impossible’s stage character, Cecil the Sad Clown, was born in the UK to a Father who was an English Banker and a mother who was the Illustrated Woman for her family’s Traveling Circus & Sideshow based in Bavaria. Cecil & his twin were born with odd birth defects; both pale, Cecil had what looked like a permanent frown, His brother Chauncey had what looked to be a scowl. Upon his parents’ mysterious death, Cecil & his brother were brought into their abusive aunt’s Clown act in Bavaria. Sick of the maliciousness of Chauncey, Cecil left for America at 18 years old, where he became a solo act, performing for Vaudeville & Burlesque Shows.
He has won several awards for his Vaudeville Animal Act with a twist as well as his Sad Strip number.
He appeared on television for America’s Got Talent (briefly) as well as being invited to the world of Theatre Bizarre. Cecil has made a name for himself as “The Sad Clown with a frown known all over town!” firmly believing that there is Humor in Sorrow.
