Want to learn about mural painting? Help us beautify the walls near the water park, and and point out the part of the mural that you painted for years to come!

Bring the whole family down to sunny Gyro Park from noon until 3 pm for a free afternoon of fun, including mural painting, at Family Day on May 12 at @trailsilvercitydays!

Led by artist @turbobambi_design, the mural is an abstract representation of a sunrise in the mountains awakening the surrounding fauna and flora.

Come be part of this joyful art-dorsey lifestyle piece.

The community mural is a @visacgallerytrailbc and Trail Arts Council collaboration.

It's an art extravaganza at Family Day in Gyro Park from noon until 3 pm on Sunday, May 12 to celebrate Mother's Day!

Want to watch artists at work and maybe learn a new art or craft? We’ll have mini artist tents including:
🎨 painter/artist @morganbialkowskiartist
🏺 Sarah Barr from @centre.star.studio Pottery;
🧶@sarahelizabethfibrreworks will have a loom and spinning wheel.

This year the park will come alive with art and culture! Lots of free activities and entertainment for the whole family!

Meet Grace and Kevin from the GoldenCrust Family C

Meet Grace and Kevin from the GoldenCrust Family Circus. See them at @trailsilvercitydays for Family Day from noon until 3 pm on May 12 in Gyro Park.

Freshly returned from a trip to Florida, these French-Canadian snowbirds are setting up camp at Gyro Park with their colourful RV for a whimsical, exceptionally cheesy, hilarious, and zany circus-comedy show.

Filled with juggling, dangerous stunts, hula hoops, magic tricks, puppetry, music, a multitude of stylish outfits, a perm, a mullet, diabolo, and an abundance of comedy and special effects, this show will amaze and entertain everyone!

Their FREE 60-minute show starts at 2 pm, so bring a chair or a blanket and settle in to be entertained.

Limber up and get your dancing shoes on as @trails

Limber up and get your dancing shoes on as @trailsilvercitydays brings you the Saturday Night Dance Party with the Karli Harrison Band and Dinosaur Fight!

Happening Saturday, May 11 at the Trail Memorial Centre this fun event will have everyone up swaying those hips, jumping up and down and having a good time!

The Karli Harrison Band hits the stage at 9:45 pm. Hailing from the heart of the Kootenays, Karli is a captivating force, delivering soulful and powerful vocals, singing good dancing music. A dynamic performer with an eclectic repertoire spanning Blues, R&B, Pop, and Rock, Karli has been on a musical journey for over two decades.

@karlidee will be joined onstage by Jason Thomas (guitar, vocals and keys), Jim Fike (drums), Paul Dasti (Bass Guitar), and Harvey Miner (Keyboard).

Opening for the Karli Harrison Band is Nelson’s Dinosaur Fight at 8pm!

Dinosaur Fight is an incredible musical duo that brings together raw energy and primal beats. These multiple award-winning dinosaurs (Craig Beauchamp and Rahj Levinson) have captivated audiences with their unique blend of live looping and raw musical talent, layering sounds on the fly to create a mesmerizing sonic landscape.

With a blend of rock, pop, and electronic influences, their live shows are a feast for the senses, with thunderous drumming, soulful guitar riffs, and soaring vocal melodies that transport audiences to another world. A band you won’t want to miss.
The @dinofightdino duo will up the sound as Marty Carter joins them on horns and sax!
