Get your tickets for this year's amazing Jazz at The Griff shows!

Thurs. Oct. 24: Jeremy Ledbetter Trio: Contemporary jazz from the boundary pushing trio of JUNO Award winner Jeremy Ledbetter, Grammy-winning drummer Larnell Lewis of Snarky Puppy and renowned electric bassist Rich Brown.

Thurs. Nov. 28: Nelson Jazz Collective featuring Mike Fahie: This stellar ensemble of Mike Rud on guitar, David Restivo on piano, Rob Fahie on bass, Joel Fountain on drums, and special guest NYC based Mike Fahie on trombone, will play music composed and curated by Mike.

Thurs. Dec. 12: Rick Lingard Jazzified Christmas: – Rick Lingard, Mike Rud, Dave Restivo, Steve Parrish, and Doug Stephenson warm your season with a “Jazzified Christmas” of old seasonal favorites and originals with a jazzy, funky twist.

Thurs. Feb. 13: Laura Landsberg: That’s Amore! Songs about Love, Anti Love, & The Stuff In Between: Laura Landsberg shares her versatility and musical prowess as she explores the many layers of love and lust with Dave Restivo, Jill McKenna, Paul Landsberg, and Joel Fountain.

Thurs. Mar. 27: Melody Diachun & Friends: Up Jumped Swing: Springtime Jazz in Bloom: Experience the vibrant sounds of spring through fresh interpretations of perennial songs that embody renewal and celebration. Melody, is joined by Kiyoshi Elkuf, Mike Rud, Doug Stephenson, and Tony Ferraro.

Sat. Apr. 12: Blue Moon Marquee: JUNO Award Winners Blue Moon Marquee are influenced by anything that swings, jumps or grooves. Badlands Jass plays upright bass and a foot drum kit, singing in honey-dipped tones as A.W. Cardinal’s distinctive and soulful vocals accompany his guitar for the swinging energy of jazz-tinged blues.

Only 100 tickets for all shows in The Griff, except Jeremy Ledbetter, who is in The Bailey Theatre.

Individual tickets now also on sale.

Series pass only $120 for 6 shows or $25-30 per regular ticket ($12 for under 30 year olds). Patron Members get 20% off individual tickets.

The first show in our pair of Classical series shows is next month. Have you got tickets yet?

Enjoy an afternoon of tea, a sweet treat and music on Sunday, October 6 at 3:00 pm as pianist Sarah Hagen celebrates the music and stories of female composers in “Wonder Women!”

Then next year, on Sunday, March 9 at 3:00 pm Amuse Bouche Trio play music for their unique arrangement of clarinet, voice and piano, complemented by a sweet treat from Mountain Nugget Chocolate Co.,

Single tickets are $32. Under 30 years old $12.

Social Tango – Wed., Oct. 30 at 7:30 pm: A beautiful immersive evening of dance, music, projections, and documentary film. Ten dancers from Argentina bring this love story to life with the rhythm of their steps, accompanied by four musicians and a singer who reproduce the traditional melodies of the milonga.

Bear Grease – Fri., Nov. 15 at 7:30 pm: A fun Indigenous twist on the beloved musical, Grease. An electrifying experience that is a one-of-a-kind adventure that is fun for the whole family.

Ô-Celli – Sat., Nov. 30 at 7:30 pm: A magnificently unique cello ensemble whose concerts reinvigorate classical music to enchant the audience through a repertoire of both original and arranged pieces.

Sechile Sedare – Tues., Jan. 28 at 7:30 pm: This contemporary roots duo of sibling songwriters, Leela Gilday and Jay Gilday, hits notes of nostalgia, hope, humour in songs about their family history, connection to the land and water, and the twists and turns of fate.

Barka by Girovago with Original Music by Gypsy Kumbia Orchestra – Tues., Feb. 25 at 7:30 pm: A celebration of life where Afro-Colombian percussion, Balkan melodies, dance, and circus merrily intertwine in a show filled with delirious energy, sound, and visual richness.

The Knitting Pilgrim April – Tues., Apr. 15 at 7:30 pm: A multidisciplinary one-man show that combines personal storytelling, image projection, and three huge, knitted panels that look like stained glass windows.

The Bailey Theatre Box Office will be closed until Tuesday, September 3 for the Labour Day weekend.

Once we re-open we will be back to our normal hours of Monday to Friday from noon to 4 pm for all your ticket purchases and enquiries.

Four-time Juno Award-winner Bill Usher, and his excellent The Space Heaters bandmates, Paul Pigat, Holly Hyatt and Steve Brigg,s groove their way through songs that lyrically recall significant events in Usher’s up-and-down journey toward the light of love and understanding. The Good Getting Older Songs & Stories Tour shows how Bill became one of the most accomplished but not-so-famous people in the world of Canadian arts in his journey from Bruce Cockburn to Big Bird via CBC Radio to Golden with numerous Platinum records along the way.
