Headlining at @kootenaysavings Music in the Park Headlining at @kootenaysavings  Music in the Park this Thursday July 10 are @shuffledemons  with their unique and unmistakable sound. A trademark fusion of jazz, funk, blues, and rap with finely crafted compositions. 

Their stripped-down combination of bass, horns, and drums creates a bold and full-bodied sound, setting the stage for high-level improvisation and dynamic grooves. 

Born out of Toronto’s vibrant street scene in 1984, Shuffle Demons have built a legacy as innovators of genre-defying music. Shuffle Demons continue to deliver music that uplifts and energizes. 

Stubbs and the will open the night with their fun, original sound.

Opening for them are Rossland's @stubbsandthe at 6:15 pm with their spontaneous original and theatrical music that spans genres and with lyrics in 10 different languages!

So, bring a lawn chair and your dancing shoes to Gyro Park in Trail for a Summer of live music in the park!

Admission is by donation - $3 per person minimum suggested. Or support the Trail Arts Council's programming by buying a Season Pass for the whole summer for $30! Click the ticket link to buy a pass for all the shows. Or buy them in person at Gyro Park with cash or credit card.

Opening the night are Kootenay locals TruckVanCar, who'll get you dancing with their alt. reggae and rock beats, playing originals and covers that they make their own. 

Then Montreal's Tina Leon headlines with her blend of soulful, smooth songs influenced by the heady days of Motown.

Having already sung and collaborated with Stevie Wonder, DJ Champion and Garou under the artist name Marie-Christine Depestre, she now appears in a new light, more authentic and full of life than ever. 

Tina Leon uses her music to reconcile conflicting emotions, desires, likes and dislikes asking “Where am I in my life?”/“What do I want?”/“Who is the person I have become?”

Opening the night are local favourites Truckvancar. This local five-piece brings a variety of musical influences and styles to the table with their fusion of Alt. Soul, Reggae and Rock.

Headlining Kootenay Savings Music in The Park on July 3  is Tina Leon, a singer-songwriter from Montreal who draws her inspiration from the Motown generation and the soul music of the last decades. Describing herself as a rainbow of soul, her music is a colorful journey through jazzy, funk, and pop rhythms with rich and enchanting melodies.
