Welcome to “Hotel Vortruba” where creaky floorboards, quirky room service, broken lamps, and little critters greet you on check-in. A hilarious physical comedy where magic lingers in every shadow.

Created and performed by Nayana Fielkov and Matthew “Poki” McCorkle with co-direction and sound design by Søren Olsen and character development with Deanna Fleysher. RAGMOP Theatre is a collaboration between Canadian clown and movement artist Nayana Fielkov, and U.S.A. circus artist Matthew “Poki” McCorkle. Using the mediums of clown, magic, mime, mask, puppetry, illusions, shadow projections, dance, live song, and circus arts, RAGMOP creates and performs original, compelling, thought provoking, surrealist physical comedy. They have won the: Best of Fest, Artist Pick, and Holdovers (Edmonton Fringe); Best Ensemble, Critics’ Pick (Toronto Fringe); Joanna Maratta Award, and Mollie Bradley Award (Vancouver Fringe).

Also in the Teck Family Series, on Sunday, May 8 at 3 pm, have Mother’s Day fun with the Juno nominated musical group Oot n’Oots. The group CBC Radio calls a “…force of nature. Amazing.”
